MEPs support a new process to make the Clean Industrial Deal inclusive and adapted to all energy intensive companies and SMEs in Europe.
Ahead of the Clean Industrial Deal launch on February 26, over 50 MEPs are calling for a truly inclusive approach—one that supports ALL energy-intensive industries , including specifically ceramic multi-site companies and SMEs by ensuring a level-playing field and enforceability.
Through their open letter to EVP Stéphane Séjourné, EVP Teresa Ribera, and Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra, MEPs urge the European Commission to consider a new coordinated and structured platform devoted to enhancing the dialogue with SMEs and regional and decentralized energy intensives as an integral part of the upcoming Clean Industrial Deal strategy.
