Cerame-Unie participated in the CERAMITEC Roundtable on refractories organised in Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany, ahead of the CERAMITEC 2015 Fair on 20-23 October 2015. The meeting addressed the topic Hidden Champions in their User Industries: Market Trends + Innovation Potentials in Europe. This topic was chosen to highlight the indispensable role that refractories play in not only the ceramics industry but also the iron and steel industry, the cement and chalk industry, the glass industry, the chemical and oil industry, and energy and waste management.
