Cerame-Unie today attended the fifth meeting of the Thematic Group 5 on "International Competitiveness" of the construction industry, hosted by the European Commission’s DG GROW. The meeting touched on the EU’s on-going efforts to foster the internationalisation of SMEs in the construction sector, the EU’s nascent External Investment Plan and the opportunities therein for the construction sector, the EU trade agenda, and the increasing internationalisation of the Eurocodes system.
