On 30 April Cerame-Unie replied to the European Commission public consultation on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Philippines.

The first round of negotiations will be held in Brussels on 23-27 May. The talks will cover at least 8 of the expected 14 chapters of the FTA, including chapters on rules of origin, trade in goods and services, public procurement and intellectual property rights.
