In January, CU was invited to provide its expertise at a workshop organised by Alliance for Materials (A4M) as part of the MATCH project. MATCH is a Horizon 2020 project that started in January 2015 and will continue for 30 months until June 2017. The project promotes the integration of concerted and strategic challenges of national, regional and European needs in the field of Materials R&D&I. This field encompasses over one thousand projects focused on various materials including ceramics, metals and smart materials. January’s workshop will be followed by sector-specific workshops to clearly identify future sectoral and material R&D needs. It will also be an excellent occasion to discuss possible collaboration in R&D proposals under the H2020 work programme
