Position paper

Cerame-Unie greatly welcomes the forthcoming European discussions foreseen in the College of Commissioners and in the European Council about developing a more assertive and effective EU trade defence approach in response to unfair trade practices, structural overcapacities, and strategic dependencies affecting European industry.

For the European ceramic industry, this debate is highly relevant. Cerame-Unie calls on the European Commission and Member States to ensure that the ceramic industry is recognised among the priority sectors in this renewed approach.
