Cerame-Unie welcomes the publication of the Environmental Omnibus to remove unnecessary administrative obligations in the areas of industrial emissions, circular economy, and environmental assessments, but calls for further simplification of the EU ETS framework, notably addressing small emitters’ needs, extending indirect costs compensation, and suspending the decrease of free CO2 quotas as of 2026.
