NEPSI is the acronym for the resulting European Network for Silica formed by the Employee and Employer European sectoral associations which signed a Social Dialogue on 25 April 2006. The signatories of the Agreement have to provide information from their sector every two years. The 2016 reporting exercise will start on 15 January and end on 15 March.

NEPSI’s main objective is to implement good practices with respect to the handling of crystalline silica sand on a voluntary basis. All the sites are encouraged to participate and to enter their information in the reporting system. An informative PowerPoint video explaining the reporting system is available here.
