In view of the ENVI Committee’s vote on the Commission proposal to amend the revised ETS Directive to allow backloading of allowances, the Alliance of Energy Intensive Industries call for the rejection of the proposal in order to avoid a further unilateral increase of direct and indirect costs for business and private energy consumers.
