PUBLIC EVENTS IN-PERSON, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
CU SECTORAL MEETINGS, HYBRID
Cerame-Unie - The European Ceramic Industry Association is pleased to invite you to attend the 2025 European Ceramic Days (25ECD), to be held on 1-2-3 December 2025 in Brussels, in particular the 31st European Policy Ceramics Forum (EPCF), kindly hosted by MEP Elisabetta Gualmini (Chair of the EPCF), on 2 December at the European Parliament (room SPAAK 7C50), which will be followed by the Cerame-Unie & EPCF Cocktail and Walking Dinner at the Residence Palace.
This year’s Ceramic Days will be dedicated to “Ceramics: Building a Sustainable Europe and Greener World”. The 31st EPCF Plenary Meeting will notably focus on competitiveness. The event will start with the presentation of 2 case studies under the topic “Strengthening Europe through a competitive ceramic industry”. Case study 1 on Durable, circular and innovative ceramics for a sustainable Europe and low carbon future, and Case study 2 on Current challenges to the competitiveness of the EU ceramic industry.
It will be followed by a Panel debate with high-level representatives of the EU Institutions and experts on How to foster a stable business environment in the current regulatory and geopolitical context. The panel debate will notably discuss the implementation of the simplification agenda under the Clean Industrial Deal and its current and future simplification “omnibuses”, more particularly in the context of a strategic but very heterogeneous sector such as ceramics, largely composed of local energy-intensive industries and SMEs or small mid-cap enterprises (SMCs).
On 3 December at ARTS 56, following the Cerame-Unie General Assembly, CU members will be invited to take part in two interactive breakout sessions on the topic “Strengthening the ability of the European ceramic industry to communicate its key messages, at EU and national level”. These sessions will enable CU Members to share their experience and vision in the field of communication and help the industry have more impact at national and EU level.
We are happy to announce that the 25ECD will be held as an in-person event. However, CU Members will still be able to join the Sectoral Meetings remotely (via MS TEAMS conference calls).
If you are a CU Member or interested in participating, please contact the CU Secretariat to secure your registration (events@cerameunie.eu).
We would be honoured to welcome you to all or part of these events.
Important Note: Registrations are subject to confirmation by the Cerame-Unie Secretariat. Please note that the Public Events of the 25ECD (EPCF Plenary Meetings and CU & EPCF Cocktail and Walking Dinner) are limited to the capacity of the venues. Priority will be given to Cerame-Unie Members, MEPs, and EU Officials.
