Cerame-Unie would like to thank its members for participating in the 2016 NEPSI reporting exercise, which started on 15 January 2016 and closed on 4 April 2016.

Every two years this voluntary exercise aims at collecting data linked to workers’ exposure to respirable crystalline silica (RCS). Results play a key role in indicating exposure risk, health surveillance, training of employees and good on-site practices. The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) evaluated during the exercise help monitor performance linked to the protection of employees in the ceramic industry.

CU will circulate the 2016 report to its members in May and the global NEPSI report will be validated at the NEPSI Council in June 2016.
